Altbes is a multi-award-winning tailoring atelier in Pimlico, founded as a mother-and-daughter business and led by Zlata Ksen. It combines technical tailoring with a highly personal approach, making it one of the most versatile choices for clients whose requirements extend beyond conventional alterations.

Zlata trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City before developing her experience across New York and London. Her background includes work connected with New York City Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Savile Row, alongside projects for private clients, fashion houses, performers and creative productions.

The atelier works across menswear and womenswear, with services ranging from everyday adjustments and suit reshaping to wedding-dress alterations, bespoke garments, luxury repairs and detailed restoration work.

Altbes also offers restoration and repair services for leather bags, accessories and shoes through an associate with more than 20 years of experience working for the Royal Family and recognised royal credentials in specialist leatherwork.

The team is well suited to clients arriving with an idea rather than a finished specification. Bespoke dresses, wedding garments, suits, coats and jackets can be developed collaboratively, with references, measurements, fabric choices and practical requirements translated into a finished piece.
