Customer reviews

I started hotpod because I do a lot of intense exercise and have a busy life so wanted an hour of movement for me. Sarah K usually takes the 11:30 Sunday classes and she is excellent in her delivery, she explains things really well, at a pace which allows you to understand the movement coming next and complete the flows. I am able to switch off from the outside world and just enjoy the session. So massive thank you to Sarah K! I am also finding these sessions are improving my recovery which is an added bonus!

Customer reviews

When I first started showing the signs of osteo-arthritis I was struggling to get down the stairs in the morning, so never thought I’d be able to do yoga at 7:30am. In the early lessons, getting up and down was slow and kneeling or sitting cross-legged an impossibility. Jo’s lessons are so gentle with plenty of options for those less flexible. Before I realised it I was moving from lying to standing with ease and now I can sit cross-legged or rest in child’s pose comfortably. Jo has seen me through bruised ribs and a frozen shoulder, always finding alternatives to suit and 1 year on I am still happy to turn up on my mat at 7:30am.
Amanda Jenkins, [Google review](https://maps.app.goo.gl/91Xt7TsK7X9NR6LH9) **Very supportive and helpful**
Jo teaches accessible yoga which doesn’t use fancy terminology or names, but still manages to deliver an excellent yoga experience. Very supportive and helpful and she responds quickly to any queries. Joining up allows access to the extensive video library for specific topics and situations. My feeling is that many sessions would suit beginners or older students. Other sessions are more challenging.. it’s great to have the choice.

This is a lovely yoga studio, I can’t always get to classes now I’ve moved away from Gosforth but I always feel welcome any time I go. Rosie’s beginner course is a great introduction to the practice. Hoping to make it to a sound bath soon!
