Best Dental Implant Clinics in London

A researched guide to seven London dental implant clinics, covering single implants, full-arch treatment, specialist care, current fees, grafting, risks, maintenance and choosing a clinician.

Best Dental Implant Clinics in London

By Sophie Brown, Health and wellness writer

Updated |26 min read

Dental implants can replace a single missing tooth, support a bridge or stabilise a removable or fixed full-arch restoration. They are often described as permanent replacements, but that shorthand can be misleading. The implant, abutment and visible crown or bridge are separate components; each can require maintenance, repair or replacement, and the surrounding gum and bone remain vulnerable to disease.

Choosing a clinic should therefore begin with diagnosis and long-term maintainability rather than the promise of a rapid smile transformation. A proper assessment may include gum-health measurements, a review of medical history and smoking, radiographs, a cone-beam CT scan where justified, evaluation of the bite and discussion of alternatives such as a bridge or denture.

The seven clinics below represent several different approaches to implant dentistry. Some are multidisciplinary referral practices suited to severe bone loss, gum disease or previously unsuccessful treatment. Others provide single-tooth and full-arch care within a broader private dental practice, while one focuses exclusively on fixed full-jaw reconstruction.

The most suitable clinic depends on the tooth or teeth being replaced, the condition of the gums and bone, the patient's medical history, the restorative design and how the result will be cleaned and maintained. The individual clinicians, implant system, laboratory work and long-term review plan matter more than a prestigious address or a low headline price.

What distinguishes a strong implant consultation?

A thorough assessment should consider more than whether an implant can physically be placed. The clinician should examine the reason for tooth loss, periodontal health, remaining teeth, bone volume, bite, smile line, cleaning access and any medical or behavioural factors that may increase risk.

Patients should receive a written explanation of reasonable alternatives. Depending on the case, these may include preserving the natural tooth, a conventional bridge, an adhesive bridge, a removable denture, an implant-retained denture or no immediate replacement. Extraction and full-arch treatment are irreversible, so the justification should be especially clear when maintainable teeth remain.

The treatment plan should identify who will carry out the surgical and restorative stages, the implant system, the proposed temporary and definitive teeth, likely grafting, expected timing and continuing maintenance. Current Care Quality Commission registration confirms that a practice is registered to provide regulated care in England; it does not rank implant outcomes or replace checking the treating dentist on the General Dental Council register.

Patient reviews can offer useful insight into communication and the experience of attending a clinic, but they cannot predict integration, appearance, comfort or longevity in another case.

A crucial point about implant “specialists”

Every dentist working in the UK must be registered with the General Dental Council. However, implant dentistry is not itself a GDC-recognised specialty, and there is no official GDC specialist list for “implantologists”.

A dentist may have substantial postgraduate education and experience in implants without appearing on a specialist list. Conversely, a dentist may be a registered specialist in periodontics, prosthodontics, restorative dentistry or oral surgery and provide implant care within that recognised field.

Ask:

  • Who will place the implant?
  • Who will design and fit the crown or bridge?
  • Is either clinician on a relevant GDC specialist list?
  • What postgraduate implant training and current caseload do they have?
  • Who manages complications or peri-implant disease?
  • Will any stage be referred elsewhere?

Do not accept “implant specialist” as a complete credential without checking what it means.

How much do dental implants cost in London?

A complete private single-tooth implant in London commonly costs from roughly £2,500 to more than £4,500 once the fixture, abutment and crown are included. Published prices in this guide vary considerably because clinics package treatment differently.

Possible additional charges include:

  • Clinical consultation
  • Small radiographs and CBCT imaging
  • Extraction
  • Temporary tooth
  • Surgical guide
  • Bone graft or membrane
  • Sinus augmentation
  • Sedation
  • Implant exposure
  • Abutment
  • Final crown
  • Hygiene appointments and long-term maintenance after active treatment
  • Night guard
  • Replacement temporary bridge
  • Unscheduled treatment, repairs or replacement components

A low “implant from” price may cover only the titanium or ceramic fixture and surgery. It may not include the abutment, crown, scan or graft. Ask for the total expected price of a functioning replacement tooth. Routine clinical reviews that form part of the agreed implant treatment are generally included within the treatment course, but long-term hygiene care, maintenance after completion, repairs and replacement components may be charged separately.

Full-arch fixed implant treatment is a different category. Published starting prices can run from about £8,000 to well over £20,000 per arch, depending on the number of implants, temporary and definitive teeth, materials, sedation, bone treatment and whether complex implants are required.

Finance spreads the payment; it does not reduce the treatment cost. Check the interest rate, term, eligibility and whether the clinic receives a commission.

What dental implants can replace

A single tooth

One implant can support one crown without preparing adjacent teeth. Sufficient space, gum health and bone are required.

Several teeth

A small number of implants can support an implant bridge. Replacing every missing tooth with a separate implant is not always necessary or desirable.

A removable denture

Implants can improve retention for a removable overdenture, especially in the lower jaw. The denture still needs removal and maintenance.

A fixed full arch

Four, six or another planned number of implants can support a fixed bridge. “All-on-4” describes a treatment concept, not a promise that four implants suit every jaw.

London Periodontics, Implants & Dentistry is particularly relevant when missing teeth coexist with gum disease, bone loss or concern about long-term implant maintenance. The practice's core public identity is periodontal and implant care rather than general cosmetic dentistry.

That distinction matters because active periodontitis should be stabilised before implants are placed. Existing implants can also develop peri-implant mucositis or peri-implantitis, conditions requiring diagnosis and ongoing management rather than cosmetic polishing.

The practice is currently registered with the CQC at 19 Wimpole Street under Advance Continuing Education London Ltd. Published CQC information states that it is on the second floor with step-free access by passenger lift. Its official site lists implant treatment, periodontal surgery, grafting and management of failing or missing implants.

The fee page publishes consultation and procedure prices, although the complete cost of a restored single implant is not presented as one simple package. Request a staged estimate covering surgery, grafting, abutment and final restoration.

Pros

  • Strong integration of periodontal and implant care
  • Suitable for patients with gum disease or bone concerns
  • Current CQC-listed provider
  • Step-free route via passenger lift
  • Central Wimpole Street location

Best for: Implant treatment where gum health, bone loss or peri-implant disease is a major consideration.

What to confirm: Ask which clinician places and restores the implant and whether every proposed specialist title appears on the GDC register.

The treatment and aftercare have been outstanding

“Dr David Holmes did an implant for me 14 years ago and it is still going strong. I have recently had another, and the treatment and aftercare have been outstanding.”

Business details

Address

45 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8SB

Phone: 020 7935 0080

Website

Published fees: Implant consultation £160; single implant without crown £1,830; complete single implant with crown from £4,250; anterior implant with porcelain crown from £4,620

Dawood & Tanner is particularly well suited to complex implant reconstruction. Its service covers single and multiple implants, full-arch treatment, grafting and zygomatic implants for selected patients with severe upper-jaw bone loss.

The practice also offers restorative, periodontal, endodontic, oral-surgical and sedation services. That multidisciplinary structure can be useful when a patient has failing teeth, previous implant complications or a treatment plan that involves both surgery and complex restorative work.

Its current CQC profile lists Dentex Assets Limited as the provider at 45 Wimpole Street. The practice publishes unusually detailed starting fees, helping patients distinguish the implant fixture from the completed tooth. Even so, scans, grafting, temporary restorations and specialist procedures may add to the final plan.

The higher starting price reflects a complex-care model and central location. It is unlikely to be the most economical route for every straightforward posterior implant.

Pros

  • Clear published distinction between fixture and complete restored implant
  • Multidisciplinary care in one practice
  • Single, multiple, full-arch and zygomatic implant options
  • Relevant for severe bone loss and previously failed treatment
  • Current CQC-listed provider

Best for: Complex cases, severe bone loss, full-arch reconstruction and second opinions after failed treatment.

What to confirm: Ask for one total estimate showing scans, temporary teeth, grafting, surgery and the definitive restoration.

Published fee: Single-tooth implant from £4,250, presented as including CT scans, most gum and bone grafts, temporary and definitive teeth

London Dental Specialists is a multidisciplinary practice led by Dr Ope Sodeinde and registered with the CQC under London Periodontics and Implants Ltd. It brings periodontal, restorative, endodontic and orthodontic care together at its Primrose Hill address.

Its published implant fee is higher than many headline offers but is presented as a broader package. The clinic states that the single-tooth price includes CT imaging, most gum and bone grafts, and both temporary and definitive teeth. Patients should still obtain written confirmation because “most grafts” leaves room for exclusions in more complex cases.

The current CQC and official clinic number is 020 7589 7792. Treatment times depend on extraction, healing, implant stability, grafting and medical factors; some cases are staged, while selected patients may receive a temporary tooth earlier.

Pros

  • Multidisciplinary periodontal and restorative approach
  • Broad package pricing is explained more clearly than many headline offers
  • Current CQC-listed provider
  • Suitable for gum grafts, bone grafts and implant complications
  • North-central London location

Best for: Patients wanting a package-led approach with periodontal and restorative input in north London.

What to confirm: Request a written list of every included scan, graft, temporary component and maintenance appointment.

Everything was explained professionally

“I had root-canal treatment followed by an implant. Everything was done professionally, and each step and the dimensions of the tooth were explained.”

IKON Dental Specialists

Business details

Address

69 The Avenue, Ealing, London W13 8JR

Phone: 020 8997 2888

Website

Published guide fees: Implant placement from £1,700; implant crown from £1,350; bone grafting from £700; consultation including small radiographs from £140

IKON Dental Specialists is a useful west London option for implant cases requiring a referral-style, multi-specialty environment. Its Ealing practice provides periodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

The clinic's fee page separates implant placement from the implant crown, illustrating why a £1,700 surgery price should not be compared directly with an all-inclusive £3,000 or £4,000 package. Based on the published components, a straightforward implant and crown begins around £3,050 before consultation, guide, grafting or other treatment.

Its website describes implant care as being provided by an “implant specialist”. As implant dentistry is not a GDC specialty, patients should check the clinician's actual GDC specialist registration and training. IKON also advertises a ten-year implant guarantee; obtain the complete conditions, including hygiene attendance, smoking, grinding and exclusions.

Pros

  • Clear component pricing
  • Multi-specialty referral-practice model
  • Convenient for Ealing and west London
  • Bone-grafting and peri-implantitis services
  • Current CQC-listed location under Ikon Dental Limited

Best for: West London patients wanting implant treatment supported by periodontal, oral-surgical and restorative services.

What to confirm: Add every component of the proposed treatment and request the full written guarantee conditions.

Published fees: Complete single-tooth replacement with zirconia crown from £2,100; provisional implant crown £400; bone grafting from £300; internal sinus lift £600; full-arch same-day provisional treatment from £10,000

Dental Atelier London is the new name of Complex Smile Implant Centre, with the practice's website and other public materials being updated as the rebrand progresses. Although implant dentistry remains a major part of its work, this is not solely an implant clinic. It also provides general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and clear-aligner orthodontic treatment from its Wapping practice.

Its implant service covers single-tooth and multiple-tooth replacement, immediate implant placement for suitable cases, bone grafting, sinus procedures and fixed full-arch treatment. The practice uses established implant systems including Straumann and MegaGen, with digital imaging, guided surgery and flapless placement available where clinically appropriate. These techniques can support accurate planning, but their value depends on sound diagnosis, suitable anatomy and a restoration designed for long-term cleaning and maintenance.

The published single-tooth fee is described as a complete replacement with a zirconia crown rather than implant surgery alone. This makes the figure more useful than a fixture-only headline, although patients should still obtain an itemised written plan showing the proposed implant system, imaging, abutment, any temporary tooth, grafting where required and the definitive crown.

The clinic also provides same-day provisional full-arch treatment from £10,000. “Same-day” refers to the planned placement of implants and a provisional fixed restoration for clinically suitable patients; it does not mean that healing is complete or that the definitive bridge is necessarily fitted on the day of surgery. The final restoration, material choice and timetable should be set out clearly before treatment begins.

Routine review appointments associated with the active course of implant treatment would ordinarily form part of that treatment. Patients should instead clarify the boundary between included clinical reviews and separately charged services such as continuing hygiene care, long-term maintenance, replacement temporary restorations, repairs or treatment required after the planned course has finished.

Dental Atelier London is registered with the Care Quality Commission under its former name, Complex Smile Implant Centre, and is operated by Implantology & MC Ltd. The current CQC record states that the service has not yet been inspected. This means that an inspection report is not yet available; it is not, by itself, an assessment of the standard of care.

The practice's wider clinical work also includes clear-aligner orthodontics. In 2026, Dr Amir Tarki received the Clinical Case of the Year award at the ClearCorrect UK Elevating Excellence Awards for an orthodontic case. This is relevant to the practice's broader cosmetic and multidisciplinary profile, although an orthodontic award should not be treated as evidence of implant outcomes.

Pros

  • Complete single-tooth replacement price published rather than a surgery-only headline
  • Single, multiple and full-arch implant treatment available
  • Bone grafting, sinus procedures and digital implant planning offered
  • General, cosmetic and clear-aligner dentistry available at the same practice
  • Established implant systems including Straumann and MegaGen
  • Later weekday opening hours in east London
  • Current CQC registration under the practice's former name

Best for: Patients seeking an east London practice that combines implant treatment with general, cosmetic and clear-aligner dentistry, supported by clearly published starting fees.

What to confirm: Request an itemised plan covering the implant system, imaging, abutment, temporary and definitive restorations, grafting if required, the expected full-arch timetable, long-term maintenance and any charges that could arise after active treatment is complete.

Life Dental Implants

Editorially Selected

Treatment location: London Dental Studio, 27–29 Warwick Way, London SW1V 1QT

Practice phone: 020 7630 0782

Implant enquiry number published in earlier clinic material: 020 3239 3932

Website

Life Dental Implants is associated with Dr Azhar Sheikh and operates from London Dental Studio in Pimlico. Its service covers single implants, multiple teeth, grafting, sinus procedures and full-mouth options.

Dr Azhar Sheikh publishes long experience and postgraduate training in implant dentistry. Because implant dentistry is not a GDC-recognised specialty, patients should check his current GDC registration and ask about experience with the specific procedure being proposed.

The website has advertised promotional single-implant and full-arch prices, including time-limited discounts. Promotional figures can expire and may not include every component. Use the clinic's detailed fee page or written treatment plan rather than relying on a banner.

London Dental Studio currently publishes 020 7630 0782 as its main practice number. Patients responding to earlier implant-service material may also encounter a separate enquiry line and should confirm which team is managing the appointment.

Pros

  • Central Pimlico location
  • Single, multiple and full-mouth implant services
  • Bone-grafting and sinus-treatment capability
  • Long-running implant-focused service
  • General dental care available at the same location

Best for: Central London patients who value continuity with an experienced implant-focused dentist.

What to confirm: Obtain the non-promotional total fee and verify the treating clinician's current GDC registration and training.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Sheikh

“Dr Sheikh took the time to explain the treatment in as much detail as I needed. I was nervous about my implant but felt I was in capable hands.”

EvoDental London

Consultation clinic: 128 Harley Street, London W1G 7JT

Treatment clinic: Heathrow Boulevard Building 2, 284 Bath Road, West Drayton UB7 0DQ

Phone: 0800 470 3050

Harley Street opening: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm; Saturday, 10am to 2pm

Website

Published full-arch starting price: From approximately £9,500 for one jaw; final pricing depends on the selected system and restorative material

EvoDental focuses specifically on fixed full-arch treatment rather than routine single-tooth implants. This makes it relevant to patients with many failing or missing teeth who are considering immediate-load fixed teeth.

London consultations are available at Harley Street, while the company states that surgical and restorative treatment is carried out at its purpose-built Heathrow clinic. Patients should factor this split-location model into transport, surgery-day support and emergency follow-up.

“Smile in a day” normally means a provisional fixed bridge is fitted on the day of surgery when adequate stability is achieved. It does not mean that healing is complete or that the final bridge is always delivered that day. A definitive restoration is generally provided after healing and review.

Full-arch treatment is irreversible when remaining teeth are removed. A second opinion is sensible before extracting maintainable teeth, particularly when the recommendation follows a non-clinical or free introductory consultation.

Pros

  • Dedicated full-arch implant model
  • London consultation and purpose-built treatment location
  • Published starting prices
  • Immediate provisional fixed teeth for suitable cases
  • Suitable for patients comparing full-arch pathways rather than single implants

Best for: Patients with extensive tooth loss or failing dentition considering fixed full-arch treatment.

What to confirm: Ask which teeth can be retained, where every appointment occurs, what the provisional and final bridges are made from and how repairs are handled.

Which clinic suits which implant need?

For gum disease or peri-implantitis

London Periodontics, Implants & Dentistry is the clearest fit. London Dental Specialists and IKON also provide periodontal support. Existing gum disease should be controlled before implant placement.

For a complex second opinion

Dawood & Tanner is particularly relevant for severe bone loss, failed implants, full-arch treatment and zygomatic options. London Dental Specialists can also assess complex periodontal-restorative cases.

For a lower published single-tooth price

Dental Atelier London publishes the lowest complete single-tooth starting figure among the clinics in this guide, from £2,100 with a zirconia crown. That does not make the treatment inherently better or worse than a higher-priced option. Compare the written package with IKON's separated fixture-and-crown fees and with broader packages offered elsewhere, ensuring that imaging, abutment, temporary restoration, final crown and any grafting are assessed consistently. Routine reviews within active treatment are generally expected to be included; the more useful comparison is whether continuing hygiene, long-term maintenance, repairs and replacement components carry separate fees.

For west London

IKON is the most directly relevant Ealing option. EvoDental's Heathrow clinic is nearby geographically but is intended for full-arch treatment, not routine single implants.

For full-arch fixed teeth

EvoDental, Dawood & Tanner, Dental Atelier London and Life Dental Implants all provide full-arch routes. The right choice depends on whether teeth can be retained, bone levels, provisional material, final bridge design and maintenance access.

Comparing implant quotations properly

Implant fees are difficult to compare because clinics package treatment differently. One price may cover only placement of the implant fixture, while another includes the abutment, crown, imaging, temporary tooth and selected grafting.

A useful comparison should identify:

  • Consultation and diagnostic imaging
  • Extraction, where required
  • Implant fixture and surgical placement
  • Surgical guide
  • Bone or soft-tissue grafting
  • Healing abutment or implant exposure
  • Temporary tooth or bridge
  • Definitive abutment
  • Final crown, bridge or full-arch restoration
  • Sedation
  • Review appointments during active treatment
  • Hygiene and maintenance after completion
  • Repairs, remakes and replacement components
  • The conditions of any warranty or guarantee

For a full-arch plan, ask for the material and expected design of both the provisional and final bridge. The number of implants alone does not describe the finished treatment. The prosthesis may differ in tooth count, framework, access for cleaning, retrievability and repair options.

Preserving natural teeth before extraction

An implant can be an excellent replacement for a tooth that cannot be maintained, but it is not biologically identical to a natural tooth. Where there is a realistic possibility of saving a tooth, a restorative or endodontic opinion may be appropriate before extraction.

The decision should consider the amount of sound tooth structure, periodontal support, root condition, cracks, previous treatment, strategic value and likely maintenance. Preserving a tooth at any cost is not always sensible, but neither should extraction be chosen solely because implant replacement appears more predictable or convenient.

For full-arch treatment, ask the clinician to identify which teeth are unrestorable and why. An independent second opinion is particularly valuable where several teeth are proposed for removal at the same appointment.

What should be included in an implant consultation?

A clinical implant consultation should normally consider:

  • The reason for tooth loss
  • Gum-health measurements
  • Remaining teeth and restorability
  • Medical conditions and medication
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Previous radiotherapy or antiresorptive medication
  • Bite, grinding and available space
  • Bone height and width
  • Smile line and gum appearance
  • Cleaning access
  • Alternatives to implants
  • Treatment sequence and healing time
  • The distinction between treatment-stage reviews and continuing maintenance

A CBCT scan exposes the patient to ionising radiation and should be clinically justified. It is not simply a promotional “free 3D scan”. Ask who reports the scan and whether the fee is included.

Immediate implants and same-day teeth

Three separate ideas are often merged in advertising:

  • Immediate placement: the implant is inserted when the tooth is removed.
  • Immediate loading: a temporary tooth or bridge is attached soon after surgery.
  • Immediate definitive restoration: the final crown or bridge is delivered immediately, which is less common.

Not every patient is suitable. Infection, bone defects, poor stability, grinding, smoking and the need for grafting can change the plan. A temporary same-day bridge may have dietary restrictions and will still require healing, reviews and later replacement.

No clinic should guarantee that a patient will leave with fixed teeth before clinical assessment and confirmation of implant stability. Where immediate loading is planned, the patient should also understand the temporary diet, cleaning method, review schedule and circumstances in which the provisional restoration might need adjustment or removal.

Bone grafting and sinus lifts

Bone grafting may be recommended when the ridge is too narrow or has lost height. Materials can be autogenous, donor-derived, animal-derived or synthetic. Ask what material is proposed, why it is needed and whether the implant will be placed at the same time.

A sinus lift increases available bone beneath the maxillary sinus for upper back implants. Internal and lateral-window procedures differ in extent. Risks include sinus complications, infection, graft failure and a longer treatment period.

Not every apparent bone deficiency requires the same solution. Short implants, tilted implants, bridgework, dentures or a different position may be alternatives.

Risks and limitations

Implant treatment can involve:

  • Pain, swelling and bruising
  • Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Failure to integrate
  • Gum recession
  • Poor appearance
  • Nerve injury or altered sensation
  • Sinus complications
  • Bone loss
  • Screw loosening or fracture
  • Crown or bridge chipping
  • Peri-implant mucositis
  • Peri-implantitis
  • Loss of the implant

Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, poor plaque control, untreated periodontitis and missed maintenance can increase risk. Individual medical advice is essential.

No responsible clinic can promise a permanent implant, painless surgery, guaranteed integration or a fixed recovery period.

Questions to ask before treatment

Is the tooth definitely unrestorable?

Extraction is irreversible. Request a restorative or endodontic opinion when there is a realistic possibility of saving the tooth.

Who will perform each stage?

The surgeon and restorative dentist may be different people. Ask how they communicate and who owns the final outcome.

What implant system will be used?

Record the manufacturer, model and dimensions. You may need this information years later if another dentist must source components.

Is the crown screw-retained or cemented?

Each design has advantages and limitations. The dentist should explain retrievability, aesthetics and cement risk.

What is temporary?

Clarify whether “teeth in a day” means a provisional acrylic or composite bridge and when the definitive bridge is expected.

What happens if integration fails?

Ask about retreatment fees, grafting, temporary teeth and the precise conditions of any guarantee.

Who provides emergency care?

Find out who to contact for swelling, a loose temporary bridge or a fractured component outside normal hours.

How will the implant be maintained?

The plan should include routine clinical reviews during treatment, hygiene and home-cleaning instruction, radiographic review where indicated, and monitoring of bone and gum health after completion. Ask how continuing maintenance is scheduled and priced once the active treatment course has ended.

Implant aftercare and maintenance

For the early healing period, follow the clinic's instructions on cleaning, food, medication and physical activity. Contact the practice if bleeding does not settle, swelling worsens after several days, a temporary tooth moves or numbness persists unexpectedly.

Long term, implants require brushing and cleaning around every surface of the crown or bridge. Full-arch bridges may need specialist brushes, floss threaders, water irrigation or removal for professional maintenance depending on design.

A hygienist should know the restoration type and use appropriate instruments. Reviews should assess plaque, bleeding, gum condition, probing findings, the bite, mechanical components and bone levels when clinically indicated.

Full-arch bridges need enough space beneath and around the restoration for daily cleaning. Patients should be shown the technique using the exact brushes, floss or irrigation aids recommended for their design before active treatment is considered complete.

An implant can remain firm while inflammation and bone loss develop. The absence of pain is not proof of health, and bleeding around an implant should not be dismissed as normal.

When to seek urgent help

Contact the treating clinic promptly for increasing facial swelling, fever, uncontrolled bleeding, a loose full-arch bridge, persistent numbness, severe pain or difficulty swallowing.

Call NHS 111 when urgent dental help is needed and the clinic cannot be reached. Call 999 or attend emergency services for breathing difficulty, rapidly spreading swelling or other life-threatening symptoms.

Regulatory and consumer checks

Search every treating dentist on the GDC register. Confirm any claimed specialty directly rather than relying on the clinic biography.

Check that the treatment address appears under a current CQC provider. A CQC listing confirms registration to provide regulated care; it does not rank implant outcomes.

Use a written treatment plan with:

  • Legal provider name
  • Treating clinicians
  • Implant system
  • Full price and staged payments
  • Likely additional fees
  • Provisional and final restoration details
  • Guarantee conditions
  • Maintenance requirements
  • Cancellation policy
  • Complaints procedure

Keep the implant passport, invoices, scan reports and component information after treatment. The implant record should identify the manufacturer, product line, dimensions and restorative components so that another dentist can source compatible parts if care is needed years later.

Ask what happens if the treating clinician leaves the practice or the clinic changes ownership. The provider should explain how records, warranties, repairs and emergency care will be managed.

Choosing with confidence

The most suitable implant clinic is not automatically the one offering the fastest surgery, the most expensive technology or the lowest headline fee. A good plan should preserve maintainable teeth, control gum disease, explain alternatives and make future cleaning and repair realistic.

For a straightforward single implant, compare complete written prices from at least two clinics. For full-arch extraction, severe bone loss or previous failure, obtain an independent second opinion before irreversible treatment. The consultation should leave you knowing exactly who will treat you, what is temporary, what the final teeth will cost and how the result must be maintained.
